I have been looking for my grandma family for years with no luck at all . I was searching the net and I found a lady in Michigan and I called her she gave me an email address to a lady in Germany who had a lot of information on the family .
My grandma last name was : Leerkamp from Suddendorf , Germany
Her Father name was Hermann Leerkamp 02-03-1877 and he married
Mother Ebba Escherhausen ( Ufen ) 04-01-1895 .
Hermann immigrated to the U.S. in Sept 15 , 1903 at Ellis Island . ( He was 27 years old at the time )
Hermann had 3 brothers
*24.07.1870 Bernd
*16.11.1872 Gerhard
*09.03.1875 Gerhard Heinrich I believe this one came over .
*03.02.1877 Hermann This one is my great grandfather .
Ebba immigrated to the U.S. in April 4 , 1907 at Ellis Island
with her family . They are from Hage , Germany
Ebba father's name was Gerd Escherhauen
Mother Peterke Escherhausen ( Ufen ) they had maybe 8 kids .
That is all I know ...
